I have a degree in nursing and am a Registered Nurse licensed by the Department of Public Health in CT. I am a member of the American Nurses Association. I am a member of the American Holistic Nurses Association. I am a Certified Health Coach accredited by the NCCA. I am a Certified Self-Care Coach.
Self-care is not something I and many women of my generation were EVER taught. It was unheard of when I grew up. It involves conscious living and sustaining daily practice. I am passionate about utilizing many different tools that will alleviate stress and facilitate personal growth and empowerment. No two women are exactly alike. That being said, I have many different methods to help you achieve your goals and enjoy your life with openness and health.
My journey in this life started out in a broken family with many dysfunctional aspects. After some years of health and wellness issues, I found a path to being whole. As a health coach and self-care coach I have implemented self-care practices in my own life and have seen significant improvements in my physical, mental and emotional well-being. I believe that my personal experience and journey make me relatable and credible to others seeking guidance and support in their own health journey. You can ALWAYS reset in life. I specialize in helping women put themselves first and prioritize health and wellness.
My years working in a community hospital showed me that our healthcare system is missing important components. Women are often marginalized and women need different types of care that are not available from the traditional healthcare model in this country.
I specialize in a holistic approach to self-care that draws from both evidence-based clinical practices and mindfulness practices for client’s individual needs. My sessions are inspiring and empowering and you will develop new skills and strategies that you will continue to use in your daily life. Perhaps you are in a period of stress or transition. Maybe you are stuck, repeating negative patterns unable to move forward. Or maybe you want to gain more self understanding and need coaching on your journey. Just a few sessions can help identify barriers that are holding you back. As a result you will look inside yourself and find the path true to your heart.
